My art is of simplistic forms from the heart focusing on the southern aspect of living or the forms of people and animals. While I try to present a realistic image, it is not the goal to draw a photo realistic picture. I admire those who produce the trompe l'oeil . My goal is to represent the images as I see them. The artists who have influenced passion are the likes of MC Escher, Fabian Perez, Aldo Luongo, Henry Asencio and Maxfield Parrish. The most impactful and special thanks goes to JD Hillberry as a teacher and mentor . My process is to draw from life or photos. I used graphite with highlights in charcoals and pastel. The addition of color draws the viewer to see things slightly different. Mode;l Mayhem will be an excellent source to further my art journey as well as the models.
