I am wanting to expand from stunt work into modeling and acting. I am a parkour athlete and instructor. I belong to local DFW Stunt Team PKOUT. I am also a WFPF (World Free Running & Parkour Federation) affiliate and a WFPF Level 2 Certified Instructor. I have also trained with traceurs of Parkour Generations from the United Kingdom.

A friend introduced me to parkour when I was 17. I had to teach myself almost everything because I didn’t know anyone to train with. I trained around my home and was not able to travel far so I had to be creative to what was in my reach. I trained purely outside and did not have access to a gymnastics gym for a long period of time. Since I didn’t have an instructor I turned to YouTube videos and networking locally. It took time and patience to progress safely.

Parkour is not a sport to me at all, parkour is a way of life for example in life we train ourselves to live a better life. It is not entirely physical it is the mental as well. I have applied this to my everyday life. When I face daily challenges I don’t give up if it seems difficult or near impossible.

I once had a bad fear of back flips and I never thought I would do one again until now. I thought it would be impossible at one point, so I don’t give up. From the moment I started training I knew this was something that I wanted to do everyday. It was a distant dream. The people close to me had doubts and did not believe that my training would lead me anywhere. I have proved them wrong. I believe anyone can practice parkour because it is not about who is best, it is about persistence to better oneself physically and mentally.
