The photos of the four sketches are old shots of the work I have left from over the years. The rest has been lost, gifted or damaged/destroyed. I am re-stocking my portfolio, based off of graphite, charcoal and recently, I have under taken oil on canvas.
What this current project will involve will be my recreation of contemporary, high contrast, black and white nudes. Both male and female.
The references for my work will be based off of photograph taken by a friend and associate, a local professional photographer.
The photographs taken would be free to the subject as form of payment for the time spent as a subject, normally fetching $250 - $500 for creative portrait sessions. The pieces produced from the reference photographs will be available to the subjects in form of limited reproduction prints.
