The Lady Jessica Mission:
To create new definitions and experiences of beauty through fashion design, fine art and illustration, and lifestyle guidance.

Fashion Design:
Jessica R. Van Hulle is currently developing the “The Lady Jessica” fashion line of darkly dramatic women’s apparel, soft launched on April 12th, 2014 at the Fashion Forward fashion show, at Refuge PDX.

Jessica began designing fashion full-time in 2008 for large clothing manufacturers in Los Angeles, CA. She started her own company in 2011, moved to Portland, OR, and now provides freelance fashion designs of Halloween costume, lingerie and high heel shoes for several industry-leading companies in addition to developing her own line.


Fine Art and Illustration:
Jessica’ s background in in Fine Art and Illustration. She creates luscious oil paintings (and fine art prints) of beautiful ladies in her own combination of 18th Century portraiture and Low-Brow Pin-Up art. They feature Steampunk, Goth, 1940's Vintage Noir, Burlesque, Pin-Up, Old Master, Sci-Fi Fantasy and Literary themes. Van Hulle has been honored nationally for her artwork because of its fine draughtsmanship and the emotional responses it evokes. Her work has been displayed in New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco and the greater Bay Area. She has been painting professionally since 2001.



3. Lifestyle Guidance:
A mentor at heart, Jessica provides empowering lifestyle guidance to help people live a more beautiful life. She writes passionately and compassionately from her own hard-won experiences and journey to self-acceptance and love. The Lifestyle Guidance comes in the form of manifestos, affirmations, tutorial, guides and thoughtful articles on her Facebook Fan Page and the blog section of this website.

She has joined Model Mayhem to find models to work with her as fit models, for walking the runway, and for lookbook and catalog shoots.
