About Me

Heather Mairi Photography is simply photography. While my styles have changed over the years, my passion has not. I want to build my portfolio while creating a network of professional and up-and-coming models, hair & make-up artists, and stylists to help advance each other's careers. We're all in this together, why not help each other?

I love photographing cosplayers and furries, as well as anything nerdy. In 2019, I shot conventions including Saratoga Comic Con, TennoCon, Empire Game Expo, Retro Game Con, New York Comic Con, and AnimeNYC. I'm looking to expand all of that in 2020 and beyond.

I'm looking for models who aren't afraid to get a little dirty and maybe even a little bloody (fake, of course).

Types of Models:
Cosplay
Cyberpunk
Steampunk
Fantasy
Horror/Macabre
Furries

My Style: I shoot with as much natural light as I can since, at the moment, I don't have access to studio space of my own. I use both Lightroom and Photoshop to edit my work.

Goals: Throughout 2020, I'm launching my official website and bringing Heather Mairi Photography into the new decade. With that, I'm also looking to expand my knowledge and portfolio and looking to include new-to-me genres such as boudoir, tasteful erotica (think early Suicide Girls), product and lifestyle.

Photo editing: I'm not just a photographer, I'm also a photo editor. I'm always looking for remote-only essential-only photo editing/retouching work. Prices are dependent on the job.

Contact: You may contact me on here.

Models Under 18 Years of Age: You must be accompanied by a legal parent or guardian at all times. Proper forms of ID by all parties will be required at booking and again at the start of the session.

Not looking for: Retouchers.
