Someone once asked me what I would say younger individual just starting out on their own. My answer was simple, "Experience life and live with no regrets". Unfortunately these words are not always taken as they are meant. I've spent the past 10 years "experiencing life". I graduated college with my bachelor's degree, moved halfway across the country to pursue my graduate education. I spent years studying amazing creatures in some of the world's most amazing places. I have stepped foot in over a dozen countries and visited almost every continent. I find my passion for life in the great outdoors. I have hiked the Appalachian Trail and the Blue Mountains in Australia. I've dragged by scuba gear to numerous countries and drove underwater caves from Florida to Mexico and some places in between. My professional career has taken me from the underwater caves and reefs to tracking underwater oil plumes in the Gulf of Mexico and designing roads and bridges for the state of Florida. Now, I've been working to expand my modeling portfolio. It started by a request by a friend to model for her portfolio. Then came a few more requests and an approach by an agency several years ago. At the time life did not allow me to pursue that opportunity, but now things have changed. Now my life has opened up and given me the opportunity to pursue my modelling career. I look forward to meeting new people, seeing new places, and gaining more experiences. Everything I have done in my life has made me who I am today. Each experience I gain will help me become who I want to be. There is good and bad to every experience in life. I take lesson from each of those and live life regretting none of my choices. Modelling, for me, is no exception. It is a new experience for my life which I will have no regrets for.
