I started getting professional pictures done about 10 years ago, and have always been told I am very photogenic, but I never really tried to start modeling until about 6 months ago. I did a few photo shoots with a few friends that are photographers because they wanted to build their portfolios, and the pictures came out amazing so I decided to submit a few of them for a contest on a Facebook page that I was following. I received over a thousand votes, and thought hmm, maybe I should really give this a shot. After that confidence boost to actually consider modeling I started submitting more and more photos and then I was asked to be on the cover of Curvy & Inked magazine. I finally made a page on Facebook just for modeling and have got almost 2,000 likes and I have been published in two magazines and I am scheduled to be in 2 more along with a book and calendar in the next month. Needless tosay things kinda took off for me and I would like to become a member of the Model Mayhem community to further my career.
