I'm a portrait and figure painter working in mostly oils and pastels. Lately I have a concentration in pen and ink due to the low over head and spontaneity. There is also a Zen like quality that can be obtained with simple materials such as the pen. Drawing a portrait or figure is a connection with another being on an almost spiritual level. The ability to paint or draw was once described to me as the ability to go some plane that no other person can go to. This state of mind is what continues to drive me. With this drive I'm always seeking models that inspire. So here I am seeking this beauty.
