American vagabond based in Berlin. I do portraiture, photojournalism, and documentary work. I have a modeling background but I don't like to pose people, so I primarily shoot friends and strangers. I prefer models who don't need direction and who appreciate a candid, snapshot aesthetic. (I like: Nan Goldin, Araki, Garry Winogrand)

I am working on several series for publication and exhibition. Subjects include: activists, other artists, traveling models, social renegades, and workers in the sex industry. Get in touch if you fit into one of those categories or if you like the look of my photos. I am particularly interested in documenting unconventional relationships/lifestyles, personal struggles with depression and mental illness, and coming-of-age experiences (from adolescence to young adulthood).

I shoot with a Fuji X-Pro 1 and a Fuji Instax Mini 90. My future projects will also include video / audio.

I travel 1/3rd of the year, often to London or Amsterdam.
