Richard Hescox is an fine artist and illustrator working in the genre of "Imaginative Realism". His paintings have adorned hundreds of book covers as well as movie posters and film advertising. His fine art paintings hang in a number of private collections and have been displayed at several American Art Museums. He was recently personally selected by the author to create 70 images for a lavishly illustrated, limited edition of George R R Martin's "A Clash of Kings" for his "A Game of Thrones" series.

Richard takes photographs of models and uses them as reference while creating his paintings. Depending on the assignment, or on his personal vision, he uses all types of models both costumed and nude.

Having relocated to Reno, Nevada, he is building a relationship with models local to that area.
