About Me

BEHIND THE LENS

I started my love of the camera and photography at age 16 when I was the Photo Editor for my high school newspaper. I went on to do photo journalism at my home town newspaper. For over 30 years I have practiced the art of photography and painting. I enjoy creative and experimental photography.

I find that working with light and shadows has common themes in both my art and photography. I have a strong interest in the human face and more specifically the eyes which are the gateway to the soul. For this reason I specialize in portraiture work.
