I've been a Photoshop enthusiast since version 2.5. For fun, I wrote documentation of every feature of version 6, even going so far as to work out the math equations involved in the blending modes. (In college, I double majored in creative writing and math.)

I do pro bono retouching for friends and online acquaintances, and have yet to ever earn money for my work. I enjoy knowing how to do practically everything possible with Photoshop, always bearing in mind that the art of doing those things requires mastery of much more than the software. I would like to learn the finer aspects of retouching photographs, but am interested in all aspects of digital art, in all media.
