I have been professionally practicing the art of henna, mehendi the past 9 years in Chico, California. Henna is a pattern and ornamental based temporal body art using a centuries old cosmetic, henna.

I have come to the point in my art practice where I feel I am able to provide beautiful and intricate designs confidently. My designs are steeped in traditional, yet modern motifs. I would love to work on collaborations where henna may be a beautiful added adornment. I love Bohemian, free spirit styled projects the most, however I am open to new experiences.

Henna is hand drawn, therefore, for best results one should not rush the process. Henna is most effective when applied 3 days before your event or project. The henna will need to remain intact upon the skin for 5-8 hours. After that time, the henna paste is rubbed off. Do not use water to remove your henna! Your henna will appear bright orange upon paste removal ,it will oxidize into a red brown in 36-48 hours. Henna stains will last 7-10 days.
