I was born in 1989 on a USSR military base in East Germany. After USSR fell apart, the military forces were recalled and distributed to different parts of the world. My father was drafted to serve in Minsk, capital of Belarus. The collapse of the Soviet union brought very tough times to it's people, there was no food at times, very little clothes and other necessary things. Comfort of living wasn't even a thought or a dream for us.
Because we couldn't buy clothing, my mom started sewing and knitting clothes for me to wear, and little by little I started learning all the things she knew about sewing.
Ever since than I Knew i would do everything to become a fashion designer. When i was 18 I decided to move to America to further pursue my dream. And here I am! Starting my own design company after getting Associate degree in fashion design and Bachelors degree in Political Science, and hoping to succeed far beyond of what I ever dreamed of. Everything is possible in this country, you just have to have the dream and dedication.
