Photographer: Juan Solis | Staff Photographer Musician, dancer, photographer, designer and artist in general. Juan Solis has had an extensive exposure to music his entire life. Born and Raised in Bolivia, Juan trained in classical acoustic guitar, Xylophone, Several Native Percussion Instruments, as well as the Native Wind Instrument know as the Zampoña. During his youth music was always part of his growth. being always part or dance groups of all kinds. including both traditional Bolivian Native Styles. as well as modern dances. While in Bolivia he was also extensively exposed to many different artistic and creative outlets, mostly concentrating in drawing and sculpture. After His Transition to the United States at age 16. his roots to the Latin America Culture were left to question. Finding the Outlet of Latin Dancing as a way to maintain his background, Juan started training as a Salsa, and Later a Bachata Dancer. But at the same time looking for a way to expand beyond he discovered the world of photography as a way to experiment with a new creative world.after graduating with a Bachelor of Art Degree in Photography from CSUS in 2012, and training in various lain dance teams, he decided to merge both of his passions into one field. Dance Photography evolved from a series of exploratory images with friends to full studio shoots with semi-professional dancers as well as recording stage performance at several different Latin dance festivals. Currently His entire life revolves around music and photography. from Training, Performing and Choreographing as a Salsa and Bachata Dancer, to His experimentation and progress as a dance photographer as well as other types of photography Although we mainly focus in dance, we also have extensive experience in Event Photography, as well as Concerts, Portraits, Products, Pets, and Artistic Images.
