Photography is fundamentally a relationship between the photographer and the viewer. At its core, a successful image is about communication: it must tell the viewer the photographers' intended story, through an entirely and solely visual means of communication. Forget captions and titles, they inevitably get orphaned from their parent images, and thus an image must be strong enough to stand on its own and clear enough to tell the intended story without the support of text.

To be naked is to be deprived of our clothes and the word implies some of the embarrassment which most of us feel in that condition. The word nude, on the other hand, carries, in educated usage, no uncomfortable overtone. I work collaboratively with models (18+ ONLY) as friends in comfort, enjoyment, and pushing barriers, creating an informal framework bespoke to your individual personality and interests. I refuse to "doctor" photographs!

If you ask me to take photographs of you nude, then you are mandated in law to prove that you are 18+, responsible, and of sound mind. The UN Convention on the Rights of the Child defines a child as everyone under 18 unless, "under the law applicable to the child, majority is attained earlier". The UK has ratified this convention. Section 45 of the Sex Offences Act 2003 amended Section 1 of the Protection of Children Act 1978 by raising the age of a "child" from 16 to 18. The Children Act 2004 and The Coroners and Justice Act 2009 also defines "child" as anyone under 18. This means it is an offence to "take, make, allow to take, distribute, show, possess with intent to distribute, or advertise, indecent photos or pseudo-photographs of anyone under the age of 18."
