Katie Gelhart is a special effects makeup artist and owner of KageFX. She has been working hard in the industry for the past two years to make a name for herself. Specializing in special effects, period pieces, and fantasy looks; she works in all things film and television. She is also willing to work on independent films, shorts, and music videos. Katie creates one-of-a-kind prosthetics from sculpting to application and painting. She is skilled in airbrushing, hand painting, as well as a range of other techniques for creating realistic characters and creative looks. Katie takes advantage of any learning opportunities and hopes to collaborate more with other makeup artists to come up with new makeup looks and really test her skill set. She is willing to travel for work but is currently based out of Orlando, FL.
