I first fell in love with photography when I was 13 when my parents bought me my first camera. I would borrow my Dad's tripod and experiment with night photography and long exposures. Film & processing was not cheap so I took my time and made every shot count. Over time I learned more and more through experimenting. When I began attending San Jose State University I already had a strong understanding about the workings of photography. I dove headfirst into art photography, mainly black & white large format and was beginning to find some identity as a photographer. After graduating and experiencing the 'Real World' I found it hard to made ends meet so began learning graphic design. I now have married the two skills. For the last few years I have been working in the motorcycle industry full time. I find the simple old fashioned engine designs fascinating as It lends itself so well to photography with the many metal finishes and detailed machined parts. I have also found that a good connection with your model can make all the difference in the world.
