I am Shawn Kheene, a photographer, designer, and educator. I graduated from Cal State Northridge with a B.A. in 2 Dimensional Art (emphasis in illustration & design) and began my career as a graphic designer in industries as diverse as aerospace, entertainment, manufacturing, and education. My love of the art led me to teach college-level Photoshop and other software courses and design. After eight years as an educator, I now focus primarily on photography, incorporating my extensive background in design and relaxed approach to capture authentic and unexpected images.

I specialize in portraits, head shots, and events. As an avid collector of pop-culture memorabilia, I also shoot memorabilia with the skill and care of a conservator.

In addition to my photography work, I teach privately, specializing in image manipulation software and photography, while continuing my design work for a variety of clientele. I live and play guitar in North Hollywood, California, with my lovely wife, Heather and our two amazing dogs, Indiana & Dakota.
