Hey there! My name is Ari, I'm 20 years old from Puerto Rico. I've been involved in the artistry of makeup for a little over 7 years now. I started out in the theater world doing makeup and costume design for all of the productions of our troupe. I've also dabbled in the world of fashion. I've worked for BCBG Maxazria and White House Black Market as a personal stylist. I love love love fashion and styling and I carried a lot of what I learned into my artistry. When it comes to makeup I don't take it lightly. I like to personalize every look and in a sense "style" my client. When doing makeup I take into account other contributing factors such as: wardrobe, surroundings and what mood the client wants to give. Right now I'm working for MAC Cosmetics and that has also helped me grow immensely as an artist.
I believe that every artist has their own touch and mine is definitely taking the time to investigate and really work with the client to make their vision come to life.
I love working on brows! If anyone has any brow questions I am the person to come talk to! I also love the eyes and playing with eye shapes and color. A well executed makeup application will enhance the natural features and I believe I've mastered how to bring those features out.
My goal is to continue doing what I love and eventually be my own boss. I would love to build a team to travel around the world doing makeup for celebrities and maybe even see my work up on the big screen one day.
