Originally hailing from South Africa, I blame my creative tendencies on both of my parents as well as my African upbringing. A graphic designer by trade, I stumbled into photography a little over 9 years ago, and found new creative expression that quickly became an obsession. I worked as an art director at Tyndale House Publishers for 10 of those years designing book jackets and making images I saw in my mind come to life for our clients. I did portraiture for the publisher’s most prolific authors as well as assignments that have taken me throughout the country and into the kitchens and living spaces of many interesting personalities. My images have even been featured on the covers of New York Times best selling books. When I'm not shooting or in front of my computer, I love to travel and explore new places. I also have a deep affinity for snow sports, camping and anything the outdoors has to offer. I am however, most content when spending time with my best friend and wife Meghan.
