I started on the other end of the camera, but I’m sick of modeling. I’m sick of pretentious, boring photographers. I’m sick of the male-dominated photography community. I’m sick of seeing the same pictures. I’m sick of women being portrayed as nothing but objects. I’m fucking sick of all of it, but I eventually decided that the only way to combat this was to pick up a camera and start telling the stories I’m interested in, instead of waiting for them to appear. So here I am.

I'm interested in shooting underrepresented bodies and groups, stories, and actively battling the fucked up beauty standards forced upon us until we gag.I like things raw, real, haunting, blood-sticky, and doused in glitter. If that sounds like you, please hit me up.

NOW SEEKING MODELS FOR "QUEER GIRLHOOD!"

’m looking for queer identified people for an ongoing photography project called “Queer Girlhood.” The project seeks to explore different experiences of girlhood across a range of queer individuals through interrogating the artifice and commodification of “girlhood” as a whole. I have a range of very cool costumes and props I’ve collected to represent and subvert symbols of girlhood, and have a number of concepts I want to see come to life

What I’m looking for:
-anyone who is queer identified and has experienced something which can be considered girlhood. For example, trans men/tomboys/butch folk whose “girl"hood might have felt imposed, forced, or uncomfortable, trans women or women of color who may have been denied or robbed of their girlhood, and anything in between. Trans folk and non binary folk who may not necessarily identity as girls now are perfectly welcome! If you’re not sure, just ask :)

-any and all body types, ages, backgrounds, races, etc. I want the photo series to reflect as diverse a view of girlhood as possible, so I encourage disabled people, fat people, older people, tattooed people, and otherwise unconventional models to reach out. I also have several shots which require a model with body hair, (specifically leg hair but any and all is great), and another few which require a partially but not entirely tattooed arm (half finished pork chop sleeves, ideally), so if you fit this bill please specify when you contact me.)

This is a trade shoot. I will give you edited digital images for your portfolio, and provide snacks.
