I want to be a model because I have the passion and drive to do it, but modeling for me isn't just about getting my picture taken or just walking down a runway. It's an art, it's creativity. It's showing people when they glance through a magazine or a book, that it isn't just clothes being advertised it's the style and the how it's portrayed and the story and meaning behind it. Modeling to me isn't a one way thing where I just put on clothes and smile. It's showing people that art and passion can be shown through something. It's a lifestyle and my dream is to not only be a model but do great things through it. Being a model not only means having a purpose and showing the world something great, it also means having the chance to make a difference. It gives me the opportunity to continue to express art and change and the stories that are held behind it.
My experience in modeling so far is six runway shows, and a few photoshoots! I really enjoyed runway and the excitement of walking on the stage wearing the designer's clothing. It's a great experience letting people see the creativity of the outfit that the designer put so much work into. I modeled recently in a holiday fashion show hosted by the Notice Network and I was also in a photoshoot with TNT Agency to promote their hair and makeup. It's been amazing fun and I hope to have many more exciting experiences in the future by being apart of Model Mayhem!
