I was a professional ballet dancer when I was young. After a brief career and surgery on both ankles, I started teaching ballet, choreographing, and later directing. I then got my degree and began to teach theatre. I have now retired to NYC and am embarking on a second career as a photographer. I am particularly interested in photographing dance, theatre, and the arts in general. My other interests include any kind of sport: I have been an avid rock climber since 1989. Over the years, I have also been heavily involved in a number of other sports including snowboarding, whitewater kayaking, and downhill longboarding. I am also beginning to work in video and would be particularly interested in collaborating with dancers on creative projects of any kind.
