As a training special effects makeup artist, I am adept in many makeup styles and looks. From beauty to fantasy, gore to bridal, I can work well with each style, creating a look tailored to the client, and also to the model. My main passion is face/body paint, which is well documented on my Instagram and facebook pages, but that doesn’t diminish from my enthusiasm for other types of makeup styles.
Currently formally training in Hair and Media Makeup, Level Three, at college, we also work with hair, doing basic updos, as well as setting techniques. These are all skills that are useful for a client – killing two birds with one stone. As I am in college Monday to Wednesday, I am only able to work on the other days of the week (Thursday to Sunday), or after college hours.
I am very, very passionate about makeup, and love to spend spare time painting myself up, or anyone that lingers long enough for me to pin them down. As I work with clients, I pride myself on the ability to make them feel comfortable, and at ease – essentially, in safe hands.
My goal is to become a professional Makeup Artist, specialising in special effects. Hollywood is the dream – to work in television and movies. I would like to use this site to meet fellow makeup artists, to find willing models, and to network myself, finding clients too!
