About Me

I work as a graphic designer and photographer, based in the city centre of Amsterdam (The Netherlands). My current work as a photographer focuses mainly on people and their environment and has a documentary approach. In order to grow as a person and as a photographer I'm always looking for new challanges. My next goal is to master the art of studiophotography. In documentries you tell your story with a serie of photographs. In the studio I am to tell a story with just one shot.

The last five years a 39 year-old analogue Hasselblad camera has been my preferred camera for doing documentries. I just love how the camera slows you down and makes you look more carefully. But when needed the digital camera is of course always within reach. Photographic images with an authentic feel to it appeal to me the most. Although I recognize the value of good make-up artists, I try to keep a natural look in all of my images.

Maybe one day we meet and we create a beautifull image. Looking forward!
