I wanted to be a hairstylist ever since I can remember. It’s in my blood. My mom and grandma were both hairstylists, and my grandpa owns his own barbershop where he still works six days a week. When I was little, I played with dolls and braided their hair. As a teenager, I explored many hairstyles. With the help of my mother, I colored my hair as often and as vibrantly as possible. I had spiky hair, shaggy hair, slick hair, mohawks...I experimented and it was awesome. After graduating from San Jose State University with a bachelor's degree in sociology, I decided to explore my passion for hair in the cosmetology program at San Jose City College. It was the best decision I ever made. Now I get to play with real life dolls and do much more than braid their hair.

My passion lies in enhancing the beauty of each person sitting in my chair through creative haircuts, cutting edge color services and beautiful styling.

Along with working behind the chair, I am a product knowledge specialist with Luxury Brand Partners, introducing salons to fantastic hair care lines such as R+Co and Oribe.

I've also been working backstage at New York Fashion Week: Men's and other fashion events under the direction of Jon Reyman. Runway work is incredibly exciting, so I'm working hard to do more editorial and runway styling in the near future.
