I was always told I was too ugly, too short, too flat, too goofy, too quiet... the list goes on and on. I was never enough growing up.
I applied to agencies as a teen. I was rejected often, mostly based on my high forehead and the fact that I was "homely" as my grandmother put it. It gave me resolve and purpose tho. In August 2015 I picked myself up by the bootstraps and said "enough is enough, and I am enough". I embraced my curves, and my good humor. I take care of my ailing mother and although it is a full time job, I am following a life long dream to be a model.
