Ruud Becker, born in 1954 in Amsterdam, studied at the Graphic Art School in Amsterdam and at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague, where he lives and works. His speciality is: paintings in acrylic on canvas, gouaches and especially linocuts in a printing process of many colours, often more than thirty.

Ruud Becker, finds his inspiration in the images and landscapes he meets in life, which he saves and uses to visualize the story he wants to tell. It is often about a female model in a slightly bizar surrounding, with a light touch of erotica.
