I am a fairly experienced and enthusiastic model, with interests that lie primarily in fashion, and creating striking, meaningful images; whether to highlight the textural beauty of a garment, the grand expanse of a natural landscape, or the intimate nuances of emotion that can only be distilled in an image of the human face. I am hoping to work with experimental individuals that are assured of the kind of looks and images that they want to create, but are also open to input and a cooperative atmosphere.

I am looking more for paid work, but I can be very flexible on this, depending on the photographer and the idea.

As to what I can offer - First and foremost, I am reliable, polite, friendly, and I take direction very well. I understand the importance of patience, perseverance and empathy during any kind of shoot, and would like to think I am an easy person to work with.
My skin is clear, and I take excellent care of it. I am rather pale, but have yellow undertones to my skin and tan easily. I have very long, naturally auburn hair that lightens to a warm, bright intensity during summer. I rarely use heat to style my hair day-to-day, and it is in excellent condition. I am in shape, I have some (!) dance experience and practice intermediate/advanced yoga regularly. I find that this helps me to position my body well, and provides the stamina required to achieve some shots.
I can apply my own makeup to a high standard, and have the ability to create specific looks that a photographer might have in mind. I can also style my own hair to a good standard.

In addition to photographic shoots I have participated in, I also regularly take on work as a supporting artiste for TV/film/commercials. Most recently I worked as a dancer on an upcoming major BBC/Amazon Prime drama, and shot an advertorial campaign for Niche Lane, a luxury leather bag and luggage designer.

I suppose the predominant asset I have to offer is a genuine and ardent interest in image-making; if I agree to take part in a project, I take a sincere joy in doing my absolute best to bring an idea to life. Importantly - I am devoid of arrogance!

Some likely irrelevant facts about myself - I sing(ish), I play guitar(ish), and I currently exist in a fog of Tom Waits, Fat White Family, Charles Minghus, PJ Harvey, Bob Dylan, Timber Timbre, Mac Demarco, various beach rock outfits, and goth-folk - Chelsea Wolfe, Emma Ruth Rundle. Vladimir Nabokov, Virginia Woolf, Philip K Dick, F Scott Fitzgerald and Aldous Huxley are among my favourite writers. I write myself, and have been published. I take inspiration from Anne Sexton, Ted Hughes, Frank O Hara, Carol Ann Duffy and Dylan Thomas. My favourite paintings are The Lady of Shallot and Ophelia by John Millais, Ladder to Another Place by Jeremy Miranda, The Day After and Madonna by Munch, and a pre-raphaelite style painting called Vanity, the painter of which I can't remember.

I am a compulsive Vogue collector - less so for the articles, but for the gorgeous images it invariably contains. I love the creativity that spills from great high fashion photography. My favourite current campaigns include Valentino, Gucci, Chanel's 'L'Instant Boyfriend' campaign, Alexander McQueen, Burberry and Givenchy. All, I think, transverse simple fashion photography into something vibrant and lasting. I am always knowledgeable about seasonal trends - from colour, to structure; accessories to makeup and hair. I enjoy keeping track of what styling different designers use to present their collections on the runway.

I imagine I will eventually edit this down to the essentials..
