I am a keen photographer with some experience of photographing live events, now working on expanding my portfolio with photoshoots of other styles, and happy to work with models in the West of Scotland and Central belt.

At the moment for portraits I adopt a strobist approach using an off-camera speedlight and softbox which allows for location, indoor or home-studio shoots. I have many years experience of stage lighting design and am enjoying transferring lighting techniques to photography although the standard equipment is a bit different. I do my own post processing and am going through a bit of a black and white phase at the moment. I feel it can enhance the mood and helps highlight the textures in the shot. That being said I'm happy to shoot in colour and can even out skin tone, whiten teeth etc. at the post processing level.

I enjoy creative fantasy shots but at this stage I'm open to ideas and challenges of new styles (which is why I've selected most options interests section in my portfolio) so feel free to get in touch with suggestions. Happy to do TFDP/Trade to expand my portfolio or if there are intersting/artistic projects to collaberate on. I have previously sold photos from my own Tacet Lens website by way of charity donations and am happy to collaberate on fundraising projects for the right causes.
