About Me

Hello! My name is Mariah Rachel. I am a Philadelphia native who has spent time living in New York, New Orleans, and Madrid. I graduated from Wesleyan University (CT) in 2015 with a degree with English and Film Studies. I have taken courses in photography at Friends Select, Project Basho, and Wesleyan University. I have also worked closely with several professional photographers as an assistant. I have worked on over five film sets (independent and studio) in New York and Philadelphia. My experience working in film paired with my pursuit of photography has offered me a deep technical understanding of lighting and staging. It has further allowed me to cultivate my own personal aesthetic. I am currently looking to build my portfolio. References available upon request.
