Hey! I'm David Blake, but my friends call me Blake. I've been filmmaking in Michigan for the past three years, and lately I'm primarily involved with the lighting department. I'm proud to say I've worked on sets from music videos to commercials, promos for the Lions, live television with CNN, and much more. I've gotten to work with amazing people on such a variety of projects and I've learned a lot over my relatively short career.

Photography has always been a passion and working in the film industry has improved my photography immensely. Inversely, I think photography could supplement my film career immensely as well. I'm interested in experimenting with new lighting concepts and, more and more, I've been wanting to incorporate the human element in my photography. I want to create scenes that evoke emotion, tell stories with imagery, and incorporate models who can capture the mood of the scene.
