In 2005, I picked up my first digital camera. Flashforward to 2012, a close friend was starting up her own photography business and asked me to model. Since then, I've worked closely with many other photographers learning different modeling techniques and how to make the human figure flattering at all angles.

In 2014, I decided that I wanted to be behind the camera instead of in front of it. I started teaching myself portrait photography: spending countless hours watching YouTube tutorials, online seminars, joining the local photography club, attending different workshops and picking the brains of photographers that I consider my mentors. I started out doing landscape/nature/macro photography - basically anything that wasn't human, I was taking photos of it.

In 2015, Lindsay MacKenzie Photography officially launched, specializing in portrait and family photography. In recent months, I've branched out into all aspects of the photography world. Including but not limited to: Newborns, Cake Smashes, Family, Single Portraits, Creative Works, Nature, Prom, School Photos, Engagement & Wedding Photography. If it's not listed, it doesn't mean I won't do it - just ask!

Just an FYI : I limit my TFP work to 2 sessions per month unless it's something that I'm trying to expand in my portfolio.

I am currently looking for couples to do a few Wedding TFP sessions as well as a few people for TFP Maternity sessions. Please message me if you have a creative idea that you are looking for TF and we'll see what I can do.
