Hello

I'm from South Africa although I was born and grew up in Namibia. I live in the winelands of South Africa in the town of Somerset West.

Photography for me is capturing that special moment in time in an artistic way, being it a cute smile or the contrast of wrinkles on an old face or the beauty of an attractive woman.

I started photography about 20 years ago as a wildlife photographer and it is still great passion of mine but a few years ago after seeing the portrait and fine art work of some amazing photographers I realised what I have missed all these years and I'm on a mission to master the art :)

I love fine art black and white photography and natural light is my favourite but I have a studio setup if that is required. I love to meet models and photographers to share experiences and if we can help each other that would be great.

I use a variety of gear but my current favourite is a medium format Pentax 645Z with a 90mm f2.8 macro and a 55mm F2.8
