Born in the small town of Kapuskasing, Ontario, I, Melanie Dallaire, Founder and Owner of Dazzling Faces Makeup Artistry specialize in Bridal, Fashion and Runway makeup. Located in Ottawa, I have over 13 years of experience as a Makeup Artist and offer an exclusive mobile service. At a very young age, I developed a passion for the arts. I spent many years developing my passion for dance and thoroughly enjoyed everything about it, especially the makeup. As I grew older, I realized that though I was very passionate about dance, however my true “forté” was makeup. I then began to read books and test the skills and teachings from world-renown makeup artist to develop my skills then launched myself into the land of freelancing. After a few years of getting my feet wet and with a continued desire to learn and be challenged, I then began to research to do research to further develop my professional landing a career at MAC where I fine tuned my skills as a Makeup Artist and grew to be on an unstoppable path to conquer the world one face at a time. Since then, I have worked on various fashion shows, charity events, styled shoots in collaboration with many talented professional in the industry. Furthermore, my work has been published in the pages of Krowd magazine on several occasions, in the pages of Ottawa Brides Magazine, on the Wedding Planners of Canada website and has been featured on CTV morning live.

I continue to strive to increase my knowledge and skills and am continuously looking for new challenges, therefore by registering with Model Mayham I hope to gain more experience as a makeup artist, collaborate with other professionals in the industry fulfill one of my professional goals of having the privilege and honour of being a makeup artist backstage at New York Fashion Week.
