Leah Edelman-Brier (a.k.a. me) is a visual artist interested in the female body and it's portrayal and (mis)representations. I primarily use photography to create images heavy in metaphor and simile aiming to disrupt beauty ideals, emphasize female relationships, and identity constructs. I implore themes of desire, fertility, family, illness, and metamorphosis to examine fate and genetics. I play with the differences of feminism versus femininity (trust me they are not the same!). I am all about the female gaze and empowerment!

I am looking for a variety of models to collaborate on projects exploring these themes and ideas. Super interested in mother/daughter relationships, so if your mom ever wanted to get in on the modeling action now is her chance! All body types encouraged. Clothing optional.
