Hello, I love to capture candid and posed portraits of people. I am available and open for most any kind of work but especially enjoy simply capturing the beauty and allure of a model, the romance of a couple and families on vacation.

My gear includes the full frame Sony A7RII 42 megapixel camera with high-end Zeiss and Sony G-Master lenses. I work with both natural and artificial light to achieve the desired result. I love shooting sunset and other environmental portraits using a beauty dish and/or other light modifiers to fill with softly diffused off camera flash while exposing separately for the ambient light. This allows total freedom to simultaneously capture a rich and vibrant background/sky by avoiding over exposure and/blown out highlights while at the same time lighting the face/s with just the right amount of fill. I am also experienced in post processing techniques, retouching and special effects.

I am currently offering the rate of $300 for the first hour to 1.5 hours of shooting, $100 per hour after that. Photos will be shot in RAW and the pricing includes post processing edits of at least 50 of the best images for a truly professional look. Exports will be in full JPEG resolution plus a downsized version for the web all via private online Dropbox download link (you do not need Dropbox). Post processing will include tasteful removal of blemishes, and subtle skin smoothing if need be.

I will work island wide and also off island. However, if your location for the shoot is outside the Kihei/Wailea/Makena area, a travel fee (dependent on location) may be added to cover drive time and gas. I am also open to negotiate special day rates.
