I am a London based portrait photographer working throughout the UK and Europe.

With a BA (HONS) in Fine Art from Nottingham Trent university, I made short films and painted using oil-on-canvas which I continue to do in my spare time. My first solo show ‘Hand-Painted’ was held in Hampstead, London in 2015. It was a collection of paintings taken from my photographs I had painted using only my fingers, which can be viewed on my website under ‘Damatoart’.

I began working as a Press photographer covering live music, festivals and awards ceremonies. Some of my credits include Rolling Stone, NME, Kerrang, Billboard and Q Magazine. During this time, I was also working with The Stage Newspaper where I shot stills for Blue Man Group, Phantom of The Opera and La Traviata.

Ongoing photography work includes pregnancy, babies, children and families. Your photo session can take place in your home with a studio backdrop and lights. Pictures can also be taken around the home, outside in your garden or nearby park. I am happy to discuss all location ideas prior to your shoot.

I am now working with Image Source picture library. I create my own briefs which are mostly calendar event relevant such as Christmas, Valentine's, Easter and so on... Any sales from these shoots, the model will receive up to 20 art-worked images from the shoot for your portfolio + 15% of any sales.
