I specialize in both digital and film photography. I shoot film with a Canon AL-1 35mm camera. My digital camera is a Nikon D3300.

I enjoy shooting just about anything: people, animals, architecture, unique or "weird" things, and so on. I really enjoy helping people capture that "special moment" that doesn't always get captured.

I have been a photographer all of my life. I was even an 11 year 4-H Photography member!

I also enjoy developing and enlarging my own black-and-white film. I have an enlarger at home; and my husband has even learned to develop film! Being in the darkroom can be very exciting...especially when you see the print "come to life" right before your eyes!

When I am on a shoot, I tend to "overtake" pictures. Some photographers only take a few shots of each pose. I take many. After a typical half-hour session, I will have about 350+ shots to work sort through and edit. I am very particular and like my clients to get exactly what they are looking for. It's about you and your personality, not me. I encourage my models to be themselves. I also encourage them to let me know if there is a special shot they want or need. I am open to any and all suggestions! Again, it's about you and your personality!

I also provide last-minute sessions and editing.

I tend to use my family a lot for shoots. My 10 year old son sometimes groans when we go on an outing and I grab my camera bag. He's a great sport, though, and bears with me. He even comes up with some cool shots himself! He is actually on all of my promotional material!

All of my packages come with prints and a CD with copyright release (of chosen prints). I offer several packages, and offer the ability to custom-build a package to suit your needs and/or budget. I am very flexible and don't think capturing your special moment or day should "break the bank".
