In 2016 I undertook a diploma of specialist makeup services at NIDA during which time I studied the art of fashion, character work and special effects makeup, culminating in a well-rounded understanding of both film and theatre hair and makeup. I also have experience with specialist subjects such as wigs and prosthetics. I am competent in both creating and responding to a design brief, having worked on various collaborative projects within NIDA and outside of the course.

Between 2012 and 2013 I completed an advanced diploma of screen and media, focusing on the arts of directing, writing and producing. During the course I worked on eleven short films, five of them my own.

After graduating in December 2013 I worked in the industry for two years in roles including production assistant and runner.
This experience has led me to the field of makeup for screen, and my passion is film makeup and special effects. I have a wide understanding of the film process, which makes me a valuable member of the team as well as giving me unique insight when responding to a design brief.
