I've been shooting for the past 8 years with a specific interest in street photography. About a year ago I started taking classes in working with studio lighting. Now that I'm done with classes, I don't have other students as volunteer models. I don't expect photography to be my day job, but I'm starting to get good enough to want to work with professional models in order to continue growing my skills.

I have the income to pay for sessions (at least for models who have modest fees). I am also able to occasionally offer free sessions for those who need portfolio pictures, though of course I'd want to know it was a good artistic match for both of us.

In a former career I worked as a professional model, and have the utmost respect for how difficult that professional path can be. As a result, I believe I can be a community member with high integrity and empathy for the many professionals here.
