In my eyes, art should speak. Otherwise, what is the point? Each artist, painter, singer, dancer, writer, actress, model all share a common goal: To instill within you a desired feeling and or portray a specific idea or emotion, some tasked by doing so with no words at all. And each art form, each artist, has an individual voice. Mine? Personally? I love to do shoots that empower women to love themselves. I specialize in boudoir shoots, and have also done catalogue and nude. I like to remind all girls that the body is a temple, and very beautiful. The female body is something we have allowed to be denounced and over-sexualized by a testosterone driven tabloid, convincing us to believe that it is dirty and improper to show it off. I want to start abolishing the stereotype that just because a woman who works within an industry that requires a lack of clothes, it must entail a lack of self-respect as well. I promote self-love, and body appreciation. My voice as a model says "In a world where so many are satisfied to conform to the monotonous drone society has created and called it "art", I refuse to be a part of the masses. I am a symphony of tattoos, and piercings, and YES I do take my clothing off for a camera. But this does not devalue me, does not make me easy, and no. It does not compromise how very peacefully my self respect and I sleep together at night. I am not society's or tabloid definition of beautiful. I am graffiti. I am sidewalk chalk in Times Square. I am different, and I am flawed. Because of these things, I don't just create art. I am art. And my artist's voice is telling you that you are beautiful: regardless of what society says."
