I received my BFA from the CALIFORNIA INSTITUTE OF THE ARTS. I grew up GREW UP IN THE SAN FERNANDO VALLEY, but relocated to Las Vegas in 2002. I have BEEN THE RECIPIENT OF SEVERAL GRANTS FROM THE NEVADA ARTS COUNCIL, TWICE WINNING THE NAC'S JACKPOT GRANT AND A 2008 ARTIST FELLOWSHIP. ALSO, THE 2005 SESAME STREET WORKSHOP SCHOLARSHIP.

TRADITIONALLY, I INCORPORATES A VARIETY OF MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES, INCLUDING INK, PAINT, DYE, HANDMADE PAPER, CANVAS, AND WOOD. My WORK BLENDS FINE ART AND ILLUSTRATION, OFTEN FEATURING MIRRORED CHARACTERS, AS WELL AS PORTRAITURE AND IMAGERY AND SUBJECT MATTER DRAWN FROM LIFE."
