I have always had an interest and focus in textiles. By allowing this focus to expand from fabric to form, I feel i have created a world of inspiration. My work serves to interest and intrigue those around me. While pursuing my education at Pratt Institute, I have found a specific passion for hand knitwear, machine knitwear and weaving my own textiles. Originally from Sharon, MA, my rural upbringing has had a large impact on my current urban life. These juxtaposing lifestyles create a beautiful tension within my design process. I am happy to call Brooklyn, New York my second home. I am currently in my junior year as a Pratt Institute fashion student.
