Hello!
My name is Kerri McCarthy. I am a licensed esthetician + make-up artist. I received my license ten years ago from The Long Island Nail + Skin Care Institute on Long Island. It was there that I began my career as a make-up artist. Over the past ten years, I have worked at such MAC locations as Henri Bendel + The Make Up Studio, both in NYC. I managed one of the top brow bar's in manhattan. I have also traveled, lived and worked in such places as Phoenix and the actual island of Guam. In both places, I continued to work in esthetics + freelance as a make-up artist. Hungry for more, I eventually made my way back home to NYC, where I vigorously chased a more successful career as a make-up artist. I then began working on larger productions, live productions + more exciting opportunities. Today, I am a full-time freelance make-up artist with the artistic freedom to choose the creative endeavor I embark on and it has been a wonderful journey thus far.

My style has evolved over the years, as my experiences grew. The make-up and style I find myself most attracted to is the very avant garde, free of all rules make-up look. I love fresh faces, with focus on skin and expression. I also find myself a forever fan of bridal make-up because as an artist, who doesn't love a short, quick gig + a pretty make-up look, amiright? ;-) I love working on all productions and job types, but for testshooting I am really looking for beauty focuses, softer images as well as bold, eccentric pops of fashion and color.. I want to explore myself as an artist and creatively collaborate with other like-minded artists. Model Mayhem has always been a great platform for me, I am eager to get to connecting and create some magic!
