I started shooting images in 1996. Back then I shot B&W candid portraits and basic editorial photography on my Pentax k1000. I loved capturing candid photos of my friends & family and working the darkroom to make prints. It was a great way to leave the stress of life behind and just focus, literally and figuratively, on a subject. Eventually I was seduced by the outdoors. I loved capturing vast landscapes and seeing how I could improve, using landscape masters as a measuring stick. Being in the service for years, I got chances to capture landscapes, events, and even a wedding! While I do love to shoot outdoors, I've realized that I miss that connection in capturing images of people. Now I search for my vision in portraiture to coincide with my vision as an outdoor photographer. Will I fall in love with headshots and studio portraiture, or fashion and fine art? That is the journey I am on, will you join me?
