I'm an art historian who got into photography. My experience as an art historian and my visual vocabulary is something put into my work as a photographer. I do a lot of nature and architecture photography. The latter is mostly work comissioned by the municipality of Amsterdam. I have my own studio in Amsterdam (300m2) where I work. Besides that I also work as the main photographer for a company that sells 'online growth' as they call it, for which I make the media content.
In the past I've done a lot of wedding photography, but, even though I've had great times doing it, I wanted to focus more on portraiture. So that's the main reason for subscribing to model mayhem. I'm an easy going person in general, but I put high demands on my work. So as long as it does not affect the quality of my work, I like to combine it with pleasure and have a chill time while working. As a kid I never believed that work could possibly fun, but now I must say I'm a lucky man.

Even though social media is crucial nowadays in this branche, I didn't have any. I sarted an instagram page this year (2017) where I put a variety of photos, from holiday shots to corporal assignments. You can follow me at 'ercesargin' (Erce Photography).
