My name is Ed, originally from the town of Fareham, Hampshire. Full time, I'm a professional photographer in the Royal Air Force which gives me fantastic opportunities to produce images that fit the bill of 'out of the ordinary'. I started photography at the age of 13 where I owned a simple point and shoot Canon camera, and over time I have grown my equipment selection and knowledge in areas as my interest has subsequently increased.

At heart I have a strong passion for portraiture, wildlife and landscapes due to the precision and thought processes involved in each one of these in a unique way. I'm partial to the use natural light, flash and high speed sync (HSS) wherever each may be appropriate and strive to make the most out of any situation regardless of factors including lighting conditions and location choice.

When conducting a modelling shoot, I aim to make the subject feel as comfortable before photography is commenced as I believe this produces more pleasing results, not just for me but for the model and others too.
