Hello all, my name is Ramel although somehow over the years it's been shortened to just Mel. I picked up photography while in Afghanistan in 2013 as a way to document my time there and pretty much fell in love with it. I'm more of an aspiring photo journalist /event photographer but I've branched out to portraits over the last year.

I prefer to shoot more streetwear/urban fashion with an emphasis on capturing one's attitude and flair against the urban setting. I use natural light only. My goal, in terms of portraits, is to work campaigns for Nike or similar brands. I would really love to shoot artists on tour or as a production set photographer.

I have begun to charge for shoots (not that pricey) but I'm still open for TFP (as long as it's under 30-40 mins of shooting) and am always interested in new concepts and ideas. I'd love to work with bloggers.
